How do I find the owner of a mailgroup?
Solution Most administrative tasks, like changing ownership, altering addresses, or approving messages, are done directly by group owners.  If you need some action regarding a group to be performed, you must contact the group owner directly. Here's how to find a group's owner(s):
  • Visit the mail group system (http://mailgroups.nami.org) and log in.
  • On the main page there will be a "search lists" box. Enter the first part of the e-mail address of the group (the part in front of the "@" sign) and click SEARCH
  • Click the name of the group as it comes up in the results
  • The owner list will be on the left in a box. If it's not already listed as a full e-mail address, add "@nami.org" to the name and that'll be the e-mail address you need to contact.
