How do people subscribe themselves to mail groups?
How do people subscribe themselves to mail groups?
Solution
Have the person send an e-mail to
sympa@mailgroups.nami.org
with the following in the subject line:
subscribe [groupname]
where [groupname] is the name of the group they want. For example, if Alan wants to subscribe to
b-news@nami.org
, he would send a note to
sympa@mailgroups.nami.org
with
subscribe b-news
in the subject line. The body of the message can be left blank as it is ignored.
Please note by default group owners will still need to approve the membership request. Group owners can change that by following
these directions
.
