Solution
  • At the extreme upper left of the communicator program will be a small communicator icon
  • just to the right of this will be a down-arrow.
  • Click the arrow
  • Choose connect
  • Choose CHANGE SIGN-IN ADDRESS
  • Click ADVANCED
  • Choose AUTOMATIC CONFIGURATION
  • Click OK
  • Click OK
  • Communicator should automatically connect.
If communicator does not connect:
  • repeat the procedure above, but switch AUTOMATIC CONFIGURATION to MANUAL CONFIGURATION
  • Enter chatserver.nami.org as the INTERNAL server and chatproxy.nami.org:443 as the EXTERNAL server
  • Close the configuration boxes and try to connect again.
