How do I recover an earlier version of my file?
Solution Note: Your system must have Windows XP, be located in the Arlington office, and be configured to connect directly to the file server in order for this procedure to work.
  • If you still have the file open, close it (close word, excel, access, etc.)
  • Right click START, choose EXPLORE to open
  • Navigate to the directory which contained the file you want to "revert". For example, if you want to revert F:\nami\myfile.doc, you would navigate to the F:\nami directory.
  • On the right, right-click the file you want to revert.
  • click the PREVIOUS VERSIONS tab
  • Right-click the version of the file you want, then choose RESTORE
  • Your file will be restored.
