How do I recover an earlier version of my file?
How do I recover an earlier version of my file?
Solution
Note: Your system must have Windows XP, be located in the Arlington office, and be configured to connect directly to the file server in order for this procedure to work.
If you still have the file open, close it (close word, excel, access, etc.)
Right click START, choose EXPLORE to open
Navigate to the directory which contained the file you want to "revert". For example, if you want to revert F:\nami\myfile.doc, you would navigate to the F:\nami directory.
On the right, right-click the file you want to revert.
click the PREVIOUS VERSIONS tab
Right-click the version of the file you want, then choose RESTORE
Your file will be restored.
